A secluded little campsite hidden between the pine forest. We actually went jungle trekking, went the wrong way and discovered this place by accident. We camped there a few times. Financially, this is very good value for money since it only cost a few ringgit and sometimes no one was there so we didn’t have to pay. There is a river and some jungle trekking you can do. However, in terms of safety I wouldn’t rate this too high, since it may be not safe to camp alone as it is not gated and they don’t have a proper security guard. Toilets were awful when we went there but they have been upgraded. However as of now many people camp there so it isn’t as quiet as it used to be. I really enjoyed the beauty of nature and Sg. Pauh will remain a special place in my childhood.
